20 Apr 2008

Vista Retail Support is pleased to announce Russell Kay, FSE for Sheffield won 1st Prize of employee of the Year.

Russell won due to his continuous level of commitment and enthusiasm to his role within Vista Retail Support as an EPoS Field Service Engineer (FSE). One of many occasion this dedication has been shown was when Russell decided to stay late on a clients site without being prompted.

This was to ensure that the site traded with the minimum of disruption as in the past this store has suffered from temporary network issues. In order to continue the fault finding process he attended the store for most of the day on what was supposed to be a rest day for Russell.

Russell demonstrated a great understanding of how critical network failure can affect a retailer’s daily operation, his manager and client cannot praise him enough for his efforts.

Ian Phillips, Procurement Buyer, Cardiff won 2nd Prize after being nominated by one of our partners Digipos Store Solution Services. As the Purchaser for Vista Retail Support, Ian put an enormous amount of effort into sourcing equipment for a specific activity that was to be used by a mutual customer of Vista and DSS.

Ian was able to obtain desperately needed equipment despite the customer’s current hardware supplier failing to provide them with the increasing number required for a new branch opening.

Paul Provan, FSE for Scotland won 3rd Prize after being instrumental in keeping a hospitality EPoS customer of Vista Retail Support at 100% SLA for a month last year.

Paul’s drive for outstanding performance in the field has generated a reputation of being able to deliver a service and a standard that has excited our customer.

Furthermore, Paul's customer skills have proved to be impeccable with a difficult fast-moving take-away environment.
